Beix

 John Beix
Mr. Beix (also known to be spelled Biex) was born January 8, 1814 in Albaxen, Hoster, Nordrhein-West Falen, Germany.  His wife name was Gertrude Christmann, born in 1834 in Udelhoven, Euskirchen, Nordrhein, West Falen, Germany.  Miss Christmann departed for America from Antwerp, Belgium and arrived at the Port of New York on September 12, 1845.  Mr. Beix married Miss Christmann on October 30, 1853.

Mrs. John (Gertrude) Beix died in 1875 and Mr. Beix died February 19, 1895.  Parcels of the farm were distributed to his sons, Frank (owned 40 acres in Section 6-West of Somers Township), Henry (later own the Section 1 parcel), John, and William.
