Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Longmore celebrated their golden anniversary. On December 23 in 1863, just 50 years ago, the marriage of Miss Margaret Martin, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Martin, and Joseph Longmore, was celebrated in the village of Union Grove, Wisconsin. The Rev. Mr. Shonklin, pastor of the Scotch Presbyterian Church of Dover, reading the marriage service.
Mr. Longmore came to this country from north Ireland when a young man of 21 and located in Racine County. Mrs. Longmore was born in the Town of Raymond, Racine County, 68 years ago.
